Heads up guys, every mobile phone company is stepping up to the competition and bringing out slicker designs to outclass the competitors.
LG has unveiled what it claims will be the highest resolution smartphone ever.
The tech giant said it has developed the “world’s first quad HD” screen for handsets – meaning it has four times as many pixels as other high-definition gadgets.
The handset’s screen is also the slimmest around at just 1.21mm, according to LG.
Its resolution – at 538 pixels per inch – is said to improve on the contrast and colour of other mobiles.
“This advancement will enable consumers to fully enjoy more life-like and crisp images, and even Blu-ray equivalent video, on their smartphones,” LG said.
It said the device – which has a 5.5 inch panel – would also enable users to see a full view of a PC-version web page at a single glance without image distortion.
“Also, even when enlarging the screen, users will be able to enjoy undistorted and sharper text,” LG said.
