Despite the utter devastation in the Philippines, resourceful fishermen have made boats out of abandoned fridges to survive. In the village of Tanuan, which was completely destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan, many families have lost their homes and boats used to catch fish – their livelihood. But these pictures show a glimpse of hope in the heart-breaking situation in the aftermath of the storm which left more than 4,000 people were killed and four million people displaced.
